Imagine if there was no body-cam footage.
When I first heard of this incident and the upcoming release of the body-cam footage I didn't expect much and didn't look for it on the internet because so much has been over-dramatized and pumped up in the media. Then I received a call from an old LAPD friend who himself was angry, calling the event a purposeful beatdown like the mob would do. Pointing out how they chose not to handcuff Nichols but instead would hold him for other officers to punch and kick him needlessly. Then you hear the officers joking, bragging and aligning their stories such as saying Nichols went for one of their guns. And just as I've seen before, they stand around or chose not to provide any medical aid.
